For Babcock Ranch, known as America’s new solar-powered city, HELIX created a series of photorealistic renderings, virtual animations, and an augmented reality model that helped communicate the vision behind this pioneering community.
Located in southwest Florida, Babcock Ranch brings together sustainable planning, walkable neighborhoods, modern amenities, and a lifestyle rooted in nature and community. Our visual work focused on translating these values into a clear and engaging experience, showing how the town’s architecture, public spaces, landscape, and everyday life come together. Beyond traditional visualization, the augmented reality model of the Town Center gave future residents and stakeholders a more interactive way to explore the development before construction. It allowed the project to be understood not only through images, but through scale, layout, movement, and spatial context.
For a community built around innovation and long-term vision, the visuals played an important role in making the concept tangible. They helped present Babcock Ranch as more than a development, as a new way of living, giving potential residents, partners, and decision-makers a clearer sense of its identity, atmosphere, and future potential.
