Aluminium Products: 3D Visualization of Structural Applications on Buildings
For this project, HELIX developed a series of 3D visualizations for ALUMINCO, a leading aluminium manufacturer, that focused on how their aluminium systems and solutions are applied across contemporary building design. Rather than presenting the products in isolation, the visuals placed them within architectural contexts, showing how they contribute to the character, performance, and functionality of the overall structure.
The renderings showcased a range of applications, including windows, doors, façades, and other structural elements, highlighting the clean appearance and versatility of aluminium in both modern and more traditional settings. Beyond aesthetics, the visuals also helped communicate key product advantages such as lightness, durability, and strong thermal and acoustic performance. Our rendering also showcases the various color and finish options available with aluminium products, giving architects and builders a wide range of choices to match their design preferences. The end result is a durable, energy-efficient, and visually appealing building that meets the needs and expectations of both clients and occupants. Furthermore, by visualizing these systems as part of complete buildings, the presentation became far more useful for architects, developers, and decision-makers. It gave the client a clear way to demonstrate not only what the products are, but how they can enhance a project visually and technically, making the material easier to specify, easier to present, and more compelling in a real-world design context.
